dude fot the 182469832598473059237409570349 times there is some slightly changes but he saidhe would not make a helmet and for foam you can get it in stealth's thread

I know that sometimes you guys get in a hurry or you don't have a lot of time to search for something but there are very effective ways of using search engines. I would suggest learning how search engines work... there are little tricks that can help you find what you need. Even with the most basic understanding you should be able to find what you need within 15-30 min. You have to understand that for the members that are subscribed to this thread it can get frustrating to get 3 emails a day updating you that there are new posts only to come here and find that somebody is asking a question that was just answered on the previous page or in the opening post.

I would suggest using the feature in the upper right corner that allows you to search this thread only. You can use key words like 'foam helmet' or just 'helmet' and read through those posts that pertain to the helmet. Unfortunately, doing that search will bring up about 50 posts asking about the Mk VII helmet but right after those 50 posts you will find 50 answers saying that I haven't made the Mk VII helmet yet and that there are only minor differences between the Mk VI and the Mk VII helmet that only a fanatic fan would notice.

hey guys! I saw the suits and decided to try to join in the fun. nice work on them, they look really great. I just got the password from Darkside(thanks by the way) and will soon be working on my own unfolds. I won't be using bondo or fiberglass but will instead coat the backs in hotglue. I hope to make this better than my mk6

by the way(this is such a noob question) can anyone pm me how to post pics? I took some but can't find how to attach them to the post

Darkside501st - Amazing work as always - and I am incredibly impressed with how well you deal with people who can't read and keep asking for passwords on the thread and for the files that you have previously on numerous occassions explained you won't be making.

The rest of us wait PATIENTLY for your V2. PLEASE people I am sure Darkside501st is working as flat out as he can be for something that could only be described as CHARITY for the rest of us who have limited to no experience in 3d modeling. PATIENCE is a VIRTUE.

Is it smarter to do the ABS is just one solid part or to somehow leave it in it segments an make it flexible ?

Each midsection part fits right over the one under it. I think that some of the issues that many of you are having with the midsection when building with foam is that the thickness of the foam is causing issues with the parts fitting like they should. It is possible that the parts may need to be modified in order to fit correctly. I will keep that in mind for my V2 files.

Awesome! Thanks for the answer Darkside, and don't worry too much about it. We're all here because we're a creative bunch, I'm sure we can sort out a few mods to get it all to fit. Considering you've done all the base work for us, any small changes we might need to make individually is absolutely no issue. Now I know how they're MEANT to fit together I can sort it all out!
