Tony has a new 'do (it's more FLAT TOP-ish), and looks like a new Reactor as well....

He has a beard too not just the goatee. I don't know if he has a new arc reactor or if we are just seeing the lens and bezel instead of the 'guts' of the reactor but it does look different than in the last 2 films.

Just because people are working on the new suit doesn't mean there aren't people out there looking forward to the old suits. Have some respect! There are plenty of people on here making suits from the first movie still. Not only that, this is a prop forum for all kind s of work. People are building things from movies that are 30 years old. We should all be thankful that there are members like darkside that take time to do this for all of us and don't ask for much in return. I don't have time or the knowledge on using some of the programs to do what they do. So for them to take their free time and do this, is very nice. You should build from the files he already has up and learn what you can from this build so that when the new version is out you can make it with a better understanding of how things go together and fit. Again thank you darkside for everything thus far!!!

IMHO - I would rather Dark take his time and turn out flawless files than to be pushed by Hollywood on the next suit. Looking forward to the updated files..

It's an art form. Just because others have moved on doesn't mean we all have to. I am actually working in reverse. Once I get the MK VII done, MK VI is next.

Just as a side question, I am about to connect the suit, but where is the "piece" to connect the chest to the back. Is that a brace file or something different.

You can use the Mk VI brace file and for the 'missing' section between the chest and back. It is so simple that free handing it or making it from sintra or something else would be better than pepakura.

mark 7 v1 armor. i've edited darksides models and unfolded myself. almost halfway is done. but all these props are just glued paper. can't find way to harden them. i'm starting to hate my country. i've searched fiberglass everywhere. then i've found someone is using fiberglass mats for making custom car body. i've asker him please sell them to me. he says 1kg resin 200 $ 1 kg mat 400 $. is there any alternate way to harden pepakura prop ?

Where are you from? On ebay there are some offers which are waaaay less expensive than 1kg of resin for 200 bucks....
However out of curiosity,what and why did you edit Dark's model? I don't even know if he'll be happy with that,might be going the terms of use i don't know...

I was looking for some details in the Chest Piece, and Spotted the Mistake.

there's like umm 47 different suits in the next movie soo I think there's plenty for everyone..
what counts is the suit you-yourself like
and if you not having fun then stop! Ask yourself "what would Tony do?"

I'm a new member to the RPF and it was purely to comment on how awesome these files are. I'm new to pepakura so I'm trying some practice pieces first but my first suit will be your MK 7 V2 for sure. Keep up the awesome work and I will most likely be contributing to your piggy bank because the effort that has gone in deserves reward!
