The paint makes it look gaudy and they are trying too hard to make it look sophisticated and future-like in my opinion. But then again, I've already written off the 3rd movie for making Warmachine look like Iron Patriot. (also very gaudy looking paintjob there) :darnkids

I have to say I am not too fond of the colors... seems like this would be a nightmare to pep... I could model it... maybe sometime down the road but I think there is way too much gold and the gold is not even as gold as it is in the other suits. I will have to see if it grows on me.

Im noy really a huge fan of the new armor either...from what iv been read I think that new one might end up being the extremis armor...anyone see the Iron Patriot armor yet...im kinda digging that one...i was thinking of painting my mk7 like the iron patriot

last I read it was iron patriot...Guy Pierce is wearing the armor in the pics I saw and the article said it was guy as well

i havent seen any proof of this yet, and i will not believe it until its confirmed

on topic:

i started my first foam part today, and i have several problems
first, i cant get any straight edges. i used new blades, scissors, but it allways was an uneven cut. that makes glueing horrible,

i started out with the biceps, and i dont know about the scale. i slightly increased the basic scale, to fit it, and it does fit (alltho tightly) but ther still seems to be a problem. i cant make it smaller, as i would not get my hand through, but at the scale its at its too long. especially the top part, the biceps cover is too long, while the rest seems to be too short. the back part (triceps) is too short, and therefor the connection to the ellbow would start way too high up.

Not too fond of the mk 8 either (WAAAAAAAAAAAY too much gold).... may'be that's a good thing, it means i have no reason to switch to the new armor set half way through like i did with the mk 6 XD

Dont wanna strain you or anything, i know your working hard on the Mark 7.

I hope they have a HULK BUSTER in the Next Ironman, or, mabey the Next Avengers.

I hope to GOD thjey go back to Industrial Light & Magic for the 3D stuff. Whoever did Avengeres didnt make the Suit look very realistic. Too shiney.

you serious the shine gave it a realistic metal look the suit in iron man 1 looked much worse it looked like a fake suit. it looked much more realistic in the avengers

With regards to the rumour that they have painted war machine to look like the iron patriot, this is just simply a rumour! Rumours spread like wildfire. There is nothing confirmed about anything so far. I'm not to keen on the Mk 8 either but it will probably grow on me. Although I didn't like it when they turned johny 5 gold so maybe not.

actually its allready reported as false. they introduced guy pierce as iron patriot yesterday at the marvel panel
