Alright, I don't want to post everything at once so maybe I will just post a pic or two every so often to keep the anticipation alive.

Well, I don't think you are looking at the picture correctly unless you just got your words mixed up. The upper forearm fits inside the lower forearm. This is the same as the V1 files and will not work any differently on the V2 files.

When the V2 files are release I will change the title of this thread to indicate the update, I will make a post in here, and I will update the first post with the new info.

I'm little more on the skinny side but I want all the pieces to be proportionate.
What i'm trying to ask is, which piece should I scale first so that I can use that scale with all my other parts?

When I see complete Iron Man Costumes, I notice some have a chest piece that is a little bigger than the person wearing it, and I find that a little nit picky. Should I scale the chest/back piece to fit me perfectly, and then use that scale to make the rest?

The core would be where you want to start. If you are supper skinny then scaling the midsection (abs) first may not be the right thing for you. So yeah, you may want to start with the chest and back and then try the same scale on the midsection. If the midsection is too tight then you are screwed and you will most likely have to bump up the scale on all three parts. If you have room to spare then you can stick with that scale for the midsection or scale it down a bit.

I don't mean to be a stickler but this is getting a little off base. I asked people to send me a request for the password via PM. I have had many people follow these directions and some others that have requested passwords by posting visitor messages, sending me emails, contacting me on facebook, and posting here in my thread. I have been helping everyone out but it makes things harder on me when I keep getting requests from all these different sources.

It is nothing personal, I just need to keep things simple. So from now on I will only respond to requests for passwords if you send me a PM.

Wow, I am also surprised that not to many people seem to be interested in the teaser pics I posted for the Mk VII V2 boot. If you guys don't care about seeing the pics then I can save myself some time by not posting them. So let me know if you could do without them.

As far as using the fiberglass resin/bondo road, how big a deal is it if i dont cloth all the inside?

Meaning, if i just clothed areas that need it and just used resin, would the strength be enough to keep it from being brittle, or does clothing the inside make that much of a difference?

Very nice! Are you using the Rondo (DocHoliday) method? It is looking great. Make sure you post some pics or you wearing the suit too.

The fiberglass resin on cardstock is not enough in itself. You have to use fiberglass cloth too. You don't have to use the fiberglass resin though. You could coat the inside with a casting resin like Smooth-On ONYX, 320, or 300. Although that is easier, it is not as strong as using fiberglass cloth and resin.

Hey Darkside.. are the V.2 Files gonna line up with the V.1 Files.. Meaning if I have a V.1 Chest will it line up with a V.2 Back of the same scale.
