It is easy as pie to use it just doesn't last quite as long. Especially with using the metallic powder and no release agent. Eventually the metallic powder and casting resin degrades the mold surface and the powder then starts to have a hard time sticking to the mold. Ahh cool... i was about to say why arnt you using a release agent but you already answered that... will store that in the back of my noggin if i ever powder coat anything.

I uploaded a couple different videos and linked to them in the first post. I also finally got a couple pics up of me in my Wolverine costume from Halloween instead of the regular clothes I was wearing before, lol. It looks better I think.

Anyways, one of the videos is a demonstration of the strength of the products I am using... I have had a few questions about it so I just thought I would show everyone.

The second is instructions for assembly so that you guys can see the process and get a few tips.

The videos are great! I'm sure they'll be a big help when mine arrive. :) Thanks! Love the metallic look of them too, you can really see the shine in the light changes.

Thanks guys, I am glad you like them... I am not used to being in front of a camera so posting videos of myself is a little new for me.

@pwrofbauer - yeah, you can really see how they reflect the light when I am moving the claws around. ;) :thumbsup

Ok 2 more sets shipped out today. I there are only 2 more sets that have been paid for that I still need to make. Those should ship out later this week.

I have 5 spots left on the December run. I am still taking orders and I can still get you a set of claws before Christmas if you think someone you know may like them. ;)

I have been watching you get closer to my spot with major anticipation LOL...cannot wait! I'm tempted to keep them wrapped under the tree...they are sort of a Christmas present to myself! :)

(But I will probably unwrap and fit them...and then spend Christmas morning running around like a little kid. :lol )

Super cool! Looking forward to seeing them.

I just shipped out another set of claws and there is one less spot on the December run. After this run I will be taking a little break to make the Wolverine bone claws and Sabretooth claws. I opened up an interest thread in case you guys haven't seen it. Link in my signature. I will probably start this run up again for February. So only 4 more spots left in December. Get em while there hot! ;)

Just a quick reminder... If you want some claws before Christmas then you need to get your order in in the next couple days so I can make them this weekend and ship them out on Monday.

I'm not ready to trim the wires just yet, just want to make sure it's perfect before I cut, but your video was a big help. Thanks again

Just wanted to take a minute to share my experience with Darkside and his claws.
When I received the claws, one of the claws had a chip on the tip. I let Darkside know that and he handled it very professionally. Within days a replacement claw arrived and with the help of the video, they were easily assembled.

Will probably adjust the fit a bit more and trim but need to focus on finals for now haha.
Regardless the claws look great and I'm definitely glad I got in on this project!

I appreciate your review. I think that the package must have gotten mishandled a little especially with all the extra packages going through the mail right now for Xmas. These claws are pretty durable and flexible so there shouldn't be a lot of issues like this. I am not really sure how that could have happened. Oh well.
