I understand. Take your time. I'm lucky to have any templates at all to work with! I'm really excited to try this. I've tried everything from sculpting my own and casting it in latex to fiberglass plates but nothing produced results like these.

This thing is bloody hard to photograph..

the ab section is just taped on for now. I am working on the undersuit. starting to come together though..

Dark Knight Foam/Styrene Cowl in Progress

Working on the cowl. Nothing better than putting in a great movie (Ghostbusters tonight) and gettin' work done!

Sorry, no patterns...I just freehanded it with some cardstock and tape. Laying foamies over it now!

Dark Knight Foam/Styrene Cowl finished and partial suit up

Hey guys,

Couldn't sleep last night, so I popped in The Dark Knight and worked on the cowl. The suit looks much more complete with the cowl.

I'm glad I didn't buy the rubies, which I was tempted to buy to save time. I think it looks more consistent with the foamies cowl.

Gauntlets just about done and the abdominal armor is attached to the undersuit shirt.

Not a problem at all to modify the templates! I'd like to see the improvements.

I got some thermal pants, built the belt redid the neck seal and am working on leg armor. should have photos up soon!

Dark Knight Foam/Styrene 90% Done

Hey everyone,

Seems like I have a small group followng this thread, so I thought I would keep posting.

I'm about 90% done. The pants are Hanes thermal pants in black which was somewhat hard to find, but Target got some in recently.

I tightened up the abdominal armor in the front and sides which really helped with the look of it.

The cape is almost done. Just have to make the pieces to attach it to the chest piece. I am thinking of getting some simple hooks for it.

The Batsuit is done! Had a great time last night, think I'll be doing the holiday parade in it for the local comic shop!
