Hello,
I have had a wonderful RPF'er put together all the pieces I have accumulated
over the past couple years into something wonderful from my childhood.

The prop of props to me personally. I have wanted one since I was a child.
Dreams do come true, they can happen to you.

I even had a gentleman by the name of Dick Tufeld do a custom CD for me
with custom phrases. (Woo-Hoo..) Thank you also Dick for all the magic.

Most of you know what I am soooo excited about.
I truly cannot express the work our very own Mic Davis has done on this. :thumbsup

Pictures and more details to come. Delivery is set for Tuesday next week.

Yes, you guessed it a life sized Lost in Space Robot....
7' feet tall approx, Lights, voice and all... :thumbsup :D

Danger Tom Gallo... hehehehe....

To be next to this wonderus robotic will be also a life sized Dr. Smith.....
The pair reunited for eternity in my theater museum. Feel free to stop by for a photo op.

He will be greeting guests at the door as they arrive.

Thanks publically Mic. Your attention to detail has amazed me. I am proud to call you a friend.
You have the talent of a master.

Tom

P.S. We have a goodie in the works. Here's a hint... It's 8 feet round.. Hehehehe....It will rock. :confused :eek

8 feet around?

A giant obese puppy..

No??

Hmmmm....

:p
[/b]

Nice guess, but no puppy.

This was originally going to be the entrance to the theater
but the doors came first. This will be a center piece on a wall around
my MUMMY display.

Very exciting, the molds are made. Now just time and money and talent.
(Which I have none of)

Hehehehe... I will keep you guessing for a bit.
Thanks for peeking.
Tom

Well I am looking forward to seeing some photos on this one. We have to know about the construction of the Stargate.

Congrats Tom.

Though it happens quite a bit around these parts, it is Very Nice to see another childhood dream come true :)

Hello and thanks for all the kind words.

I was the first one to purchase Xeno's Stargate and to
anyone thinking about it, BUY IT...

His work is amazing and I added a lighting effect that rocks and
makes the gate look real...

http://www.therpf.com/index.php?showtopic=120406&hl=

I hired a local artisian to make a mold for the 8' foot gate over a year ago.
Before Xeno made his. (Again, xeno's gate is perfect..)

After waiting for my original gate to get done, I finally gave up and went and picked up
the molds for the Gate itself and the chevrons. The gate is in 8 sections. The chevrons will
lite up. My ceilings are 9' feet in the museum some I may add a base to walk up perhaps.

I also will be using the same lighting effect as I did with Xeno's original gate.
Here is the link to what I did with the lighting and a link to a short Utube video clip of the
effect in action.

My friend who built my B9 Robot said it won't take much to pour and get the gate together.
More to come on this project. It was originally going to be my entrance to my theater.

More to come and I will be taking lotsa pics of th robot when he get's home on Tuesday.
