Dalziel & Pascoe 1960's Warrant Card

Here's something I been thinking of as a project for quite a while now, anybody fancy a crack at the graphics for it. It was shown in an episode of the UK Police series Dalziel & Pascoe and appears to be based on a real one. I haven't had any luck finding the old Yorkshire Police crest thats used on it but thought it would be a cool old set.

Looks similar to this genuine one I used to own.
That crest is weird, looks like they've used a fictitious crest as well as a fictitious force title.

Kenny you are onto something, it is certainly based on something very similar to that. The wording is almost bang on, instead of where it has 'special constable' on the real one they put 'detective constable'! Yeah, there is going to be a lot of creative license when the propmakers put these together. It's possible the crest is an old ceremonial one but which force is anybodies guess....
