Daft punk Guy Manuel and Thomas Bangalter Helmets

I have started making daft punk helmets and I am fully committed this time. I am using pepakura to make helmets. However, I didn't use cardstock and I chose a file with no visor. I put it together and the opening for a visor is weak and flimsy. I am wondering if I should still use it for fiberglass resin or make a new one with a visor and with cardstock. Any suggestions?

The only thing is, even if you did reinforce the visor part, the regular paper would probably sag under the weight of the resin. I've never use regular paper, but some of my cardstock peps have done it. I would build another in cardstock. But, if you don't want to, try reinforcing the visor frame. Guess it wouldn't hurt to try.

Hello. I am a huge Daft Punk fan and I was planning on making a Guy-Man helmet. I can't seem to find a decent Pepakura file of the helmet. Could anyone link me to one? That would much appreciated.

Progress is slow, Guy-Manuel helmet is still being cut and I've decided to reinforce my Thomas helmet with paper mache. My deadline is May 30th, and I still need to fiberglass and bondo AND sand. Anyone have tips on vacuum forming for guy manuel visor?

Here's my tip.
Make your own vacuum forming machine.
Whilst that sounds sarcastic, it's not...and not as daft (forgive the pun) as it sounds.
Just give youtube a search on building your own.
As regards to your master form, get your Guy helmets visor to its forming state, reinforce, and vacuum clear .5mm/1mm acrylic then use spray car tint (limo)
