Cylon Original Series

Finally started on my Cylon project. I originally began this project a few years ago but never really got around to getting it finished. This suit is cast from a screen used suit.

We are using the Cosmichrome process for the armor

What is that system you used for the chrome finish?

Cosmichrome

Chrome paint. Cosmichrome Spray on chrome.

I have a vacuum-formed set--do you think this would work on that type of plastic as well?

I've seen this chrome process before. Can I ask a couple of questions. How durable is the finish and is this something you had done or did yourself at home and finally if you did it at home are there any specialty tools required?

Yes should be no problem

Finish is very durable. A special clear coat is applied


I did this at my friends shop

You have to buy the cosmichrome system which is rather expensive

The 2nd step in the process is to apply the cosmichrome base coat

This weekend we will chrome about 20 pieces

That finish is fantastic!!! System is pricey but you cant argue with the end result.
