Cyberpunk: Edgerunners

Series came out on Netflix and was wondering if anyone saw it.

If you arnt a fan of the game or video games in general, no issues since its still pretty understandable to non-fans.

I did go in not expecting much but found the show to be pretty enjoyable. The animation was clean and I liked the focus on 2D vs the new CGI 3D the industry is moving toward which can be seen with the recent Dragonball movie.

I actually have the game; managed to buy one of the special editions dirt cheap because of the initial launch problems and apparently Amazon has a stockpile to unload. Don't want to start it until CDPR finishes with the updates and DLC content though.

I'm more of a Shadowrun guy, but Cyberpunk is basically just Shadowrun without the magic component and I need my cyberpunk fix while waiting for my Blade Runner TTRPG to ship in November and the Kickstarters for some upcoming Shadowrun content to start this fall.

EDIT: First episode down, so far so good. Definitely see this as a blu ray purchase in the future. Loving the soundtrack as well. See the whole OST is already up on youtube.

I'm 3 episodes in so far and I'm enjoying it. Having played the game, it's great to see all of the familiar locales in the show.
