Cyberfez's Buffy The Vampire Slayer Scythe build

This is a record of my Scythe build.
Started by cutting shape and sanding and whittling by hand.


The headstock I decided to 3d print

Started painting the blade

3D print kept lifting and deforming so I have to do this again sometime but I want to use this on the weekend so had to go with it. screwed and glued it to the blade.

Blade masked and painted (not too happy with the red but better than nothing.

started on the handle. Placing the detail in (thumbtacks glued in with 2 part araldite)

I got the measurements from reading about the prop that it was approximately 1 metre in length so I printed out the clearest pic of the Factory Prop one 1:1.

Looks awesome!!! Now build a buffy bot!

Cut the stake out of walnut dowel and stained it as dark as I could get.

3d printed the crown and assembled then with glue on the stake.


finished product not too bad. these shots wer just a stack up before i secured it all down
