cw arsenal thread

Re: Definitive cw arsenal thread

Piggybacking on what jeryhorn said about the crossbow pistol bolts, the flights on these over at Amazon seem to match the ones in the images of Colton. Though I feel like you'd have to mod the tip to not cut through the sheath.

The other ones would be easier because they have a "bullet-esque" point so they would not cut through the sheath.

Re: Definitive cw arsenal thread

Hi, I made a template for the Ragim Matrix Jr. 48" riser for anyone who wishes to make the bow as opposed to buying it. It is 14.5" long (at least it was on the computer) and when printed on A4 paper should be the correct size. Just print it, cut it out, line up the two halves and stick together with tape or glue. I don't know how helpful this will actually be, but I thought it might be useful. Please give feedback if you see any major problems with it.
Thanks.

That pic has been around for a while but its not detailed enough to reproduce the escrima sticks holsters
Forgive me if this has already been said, but they are Escrima Sticks but they are not the traditional full length. They appear to be maybe 6" shorter. But the coloring as mentioned before is correct. I'll be going to Warner Brothers Studio next month and see if they have the suit and everything on display and try and get some good shoots.

Nice find man, they look spot on. Sure would be nice to find a cheaper more con friendly version of either of these knives though.
Just a suggestion. This is what I do when it comes to making con safe blades. Get some plexi-glass draw the desired blade, cut it out of course, use a dremel to put the finer details in it and if it needs a sheath either make one of craft foam or any other material you'd like. If you want an example let me know and I'll post it.

I may be going against all the sacred laws of definititive threads by saying this, but I think we can probably assume that Arsenal uses the same arrow hardware (shaft, nock, fletching etc) as Arrow, just different colours on the fletchings?

I THINK I identified Arsenals Belt I was searching images to help with designing characters in my comics and I found this image and it looks pretty similar to Arsenal's Belt. d21dd6c44ffe27370657c8e839455d92.jpg

I'd agree with that deduction:thumbsup

Re: Definitive cw arsenal thread

Does anyone have any idea if there is anything at the bottom of his quiver, to maybe cushion his arrows? It's just I'm trying to scale his quiver, and I'm getting around 75cm for it, which is about 29.5 inches. However, his arrows are coming out as about 99cm, which is 39 inches (roughly). Now, 39 inches is extremely long for arrows, and it seems strange that Colton Haynes, who is relatively short, would be using 39 inch arrows, when most people use about 26-32 inches. You can also see that on some of the pictures that firefly827347 uploaded that his quiver and arrows look really long compared to the rest of him. This may just be my scaling, but this doesn't make sense to me. Any ideas?
P.S. I completely apologise if this is just me being dumb lol.

Re: Definitive cw arsenal thread

Oh crud. I tried it again, and I got about 30 inches for his arrows, and 25 (24.7) inches for the quiver, which makes much more sense. I don't know where I went wrong the first time, but sorry!
