Custom vinyl decals

Hello!

Before ordering something from one of dozens of sketchy websites, I thought I'd give RPFers a first shot: I'm looking for someone who can print some custom decals on transparent vinyl. The patterns are too large for waterslide decals unfortunately. It's for a prop project I'm working on, but I figure the modeling community probably has the decal thing nailed.

Biggest dimension is 11", full color, the higher the resolution the better.

If anyone can do that, or has leads on who may, let me know. Thanks!

I can print 1440 dpi with our Mimaki JV3-130 SP2 solvent ink printer but we do not have clear substrate- it is used for sign making and so we use opaque/translucent vinyls to print with.
On the bright side it prints 48" across...

Thanks for the reply, but yeah, even though they will actually be going on a white background, there's a lot of different shades of "white" and I want these to blend in as well as possible.

I know what you mean about all sorts of different 'whites'- one looks normal until you set it next to another white panel...

Maybe Lou Dalmaso can help you out if he can get transparent. I too need some transparent masks, and thought about contacting him for that question.

I ended up ordering some online. But seriously, we need a central list somewhere on here where people can offer services. Like, here's the people who will take commissions for: custom vinyl printing, vinyl cutting, custom fabrics, laser cutting, high-res 3D printing, etc.
If that already exists and I just haven't found it, that would make my day.
