Custom suit build the Knarley Mofo Elder WIP

That skin is looking great! The dremel +buffing wheel combo really does work like magic. I'm looking forward to seeing what you can do with that cabopatch.

Cheers matie, it's use it to hide any holes or pits in the seam lines.

Hey Tony,
Your skin looks like tailor-made.
Congratulations!
Here are two little suggestions:

Cheers buddy, the ikle holes are on there just they pics didn't come out to well. My wife got the hump cos I asked her to take pics whilst she was catching up on her programmes on the TV.

I'm debating customising/changing the armour a bit and making some resin ones that fit over footprint of the existing latex armour. It's a maybe thou at the min. I wanna get a con ready suit for Nov. If I'd get it done before then maybe I'll make some tweets to get the suit closer to where I really want it.

And I had a parcel arrive today from Troggs, cheers buddy I'm using this great queen chestburster somewhere on my suit. I'll let you know when I've sorted it out fully. Cheers Troggs your true star.

As soon as I get my goodies from Ruffkintoy I'll start sketching some ideas for my leather work for my armour and leather work around my waist and butt. It'll make a Crackalakin buckle buddy. Ties in with my Celtic Elder xeno killer character.

Just waiting on confirmation from Ruffkintoy/Chuck and my goodies should be on their way.

And I've also got my body netting. Cotton 50mm squares, I've just gotta dye it black now. With the dye it's only cost £3. The netting is 2 meters x 1 meter more than enough for what I need. If anyone wants a link to where I got it drop me a PM. They ship to the states as well. It's uber lightweight but uber strong stuff.

Who would have thought I'd be putting a string vest on my creation.

Ikle update, Chuck/Ruffkintoy has shipped my suit part and goodies, I can hardly wait. So close now to getting a near enough whole suit together.........

Left to sort, source or custom medi pack, custom thigh armour TBC, custom leather work TBC, custom shin armour TBC, then I've gotta remove my failed attempt at my first miserable go on painting my mask. Anyone have any nuggets of how to remove acylic paint from latex? Then lots of seaming and cabopatching and foaming my skin, putting lifts and zips in the feet. A bit of customosing and battle scaring to my armour. Finally complete my cannon and arm mount. Then she'd load of painting the resin parts, easy enough I'm happy with doing all that. Then dipping my toe into the work of prosaide and airbrushing............ All the threads recently and ta2pros how to makes it look so simple. I'm gonna have a go painting my manakin I think first then paint my skins.

This build is coming along nicely cant wait to see what comes next lol keep it up

Cheers buddy

String vest , Rab C Nesbit LOL..

Doing a great job on it man

Deffo not buddy. All I need now is cabosil and prosaide.

I always wanted to start my own celtic build but never got the time to, and what I see here inspires me to get started

Cheers buddy, take a plunge. I did I never thought I would learnt as much as I have so far. I'm nearly there.

Got a huge parcel delivery today with some suit parts..................CHUCK you are a true star and an amazing person. I kept adding to my order and he still got it to me within the same time he promised. A real great person to deal with and buy from. He kept me informed and sent pics every step of the way. Tracking on the parcel was great as I saved my Christmas and two lots of birthday money up it felt like I was watching Santa getting closer and closer to my house. As my goodies left Ruffkintoy and all the stages and places my suit parts went to before finally arriving at my front door. My wife said I was like a little kid getting his first bike again Christmas.

Here's a pic of my stash of goodies from Ruffkintoy aka Chuck Ruffing.

Now it's time to get out the dremmel, learn how to do random flashing led an electrics, customise and sort a few cans of primer.

No worries buddy, here to help as others have done for me. I've got some AVP armour from Ruffkintoy/ Chuck Ruffing he does the whole suit including masks and bios. I know he's on the naughty list but my transaction from start to finish couldn't be easier. He's a master at his art and a true star. PM me if you want his details.

Ikle update I've worked out and started on how to get my AVP body armour over my P2 skin armour!!! From loads of tube vids and chats with buddies on here and FB looks like my build if finally rolling and gaining a bit of momentum.

Here's to warmer weather. What do you all use as heaters in your workshops?
