Custom Joker - Makeup and Appliance Advice?

Hey everyone, I was looking for some makeup/appliance advice for my joker costume, from any of the makeup experts out there. Joker has always been my favorite villain, and I have done several incarnations over the years. So far I have been mostly teaching myself what I needed as I went along, and upgrading it as I go to how i wanted my joker to look. I started out using screamteam prosthetics and Kryolan Rubber Grease, and then moved to Airbrush Makeup and last year I attempted my first ever sculpt.

This was how my first sculpt turned out:

I am looking to upgrade my costume pictured bellow, which uses the sculpt above. I am going to change the prosthetic from one made of foam latex to one made of Dragon skin silicone. The plan is to to cast the new one in Dragon Skin FX PRO combined with SLACKER to create a silicone gel and a more skin realistic piece.

So my first question to the makeup experts out there is what is a good makeup to use on silicone? Is there an airbrush makeup? I have come to really like airbrush makeup and in the picture above I am using ReelCreations. I love there makeup, but it's really expensive, and the white takes a TON of makeup to cover. Is there a brand that has a white that covers better? Also I would imagine it can be hard to get makeup to bond to the silicone.

My next question are there any tricks or tutorials for getting skin to look more natural like it is in this picture below. As I said I have been teaching myself stuff as I go, and any advice it greatly appreciated. I stumbled on this version of the joker (Yeah obviously not mine but a goal of mine to someday get this quality) on the smooth-on website, and the skin tone is exactly what I always wanted to try and create.

And then comes my final question for the makeup experts. How do I do a good hair piece with a hairline? I have used cheap wigs all the time as I am completely bald, but would like to try something a little more realistic since I am going a more realistic look to the prosthetic and makeup next time.

Any and all advice is greatly appreciated. As I said before I have been making it up as I go so far based on what advice I could pick off of peoples brains at conventions and events. I have lurked on the boards for years, and figured it was time to make my own post to answer some more of my more specific questions.

Thanks again!
