Custom Hot Toys parts/accesories

Does anybody here on the Lair know where I can find 1/6 Hot Toys custom armour, biomasks and weapons? An example of what I'm looking for is a Hot Toys Gort Bio (see Spinsky's custom below), which I've seen people using but not seen for sale anywhere. I've tried eBay but so far I've only found parts of existing 1/6 Predators, nothing specially made.

If anyone can give me a web address/name or if they have any available, please put up a post. All help will be greatly appreciated.

Hey dude, that mask is not by Hot Toys, there's a guy that makes them, he's on ebay. If any one here knowns the guy they'll tell you how to reach him, I bought the masks from him a LONG time ago I forget what his ebay handle was. It's definitely NOT by hot toys though.

eBay is where to find predator HotToy armor parts etc. The helmet is from a predator gort 7 head kit. Their is a guy on ebay that sells custom resin helmets but they're recasts off a recast kit. But the helmets are good for kit bashing. I kinda don't like the casts he has for sell though.

I would see if you can find the gort kit and use those helmets that come with it. Their is a guy I know of on ebay that puts these kits up every now and then. His kits are recasts but the 7 head predator kit looks really decent. The helmets look alot better then the other seller that sells just the helmets, They have lots more detail.

i got the mask from the bloke off ebay (as pointed out above) and the armour is from a 12" model kit (a cheap vinyl recast) which i cut into bits the painted etc.

Well, I'd really like to know how you guys sculpt and cast your own 1/6 custom bios. I'll probably use the same technique to make the armour. The only difficult part is figuring out how to do the weapons, as I'd really like to give them the same functions as those made by Hot Toys. e.g. retractable wristblades/combistick, fully mobile plasmacaster etc.

Any help will be very appreciated.

The custom bio's that I made were done by first making a presscast of an existing bio( I used Paperclay, got it from Micheal's crafts) then I used Sculpy (kind of brittle when cured) to fill in the cast (thinly). While the sculpy was still soft, I pulled it from the cast, put it on my figures head(which I wrapped in cling wrap), and sculpted the bio to fit. I also tried using milliput, this is definitly stronger, but you have to work faster to sculpt before it dries. I am working on a fourth pred right now, open mouth, and I was thinking of a modified bio design that would fit between the mandibles, I saw something like this on the site awhile back.
As for armour, I am experimenting with some Hasbro stormtrooper armour, cutting it down and overlapping pieces, painting and weathering it, but I am at a stand-still as what to do about the back armour/plasma cannon part. I have the MF 6" AVP pred's and the plasma cannon is a good scale for 1/6, but the backpack power supply thingy is giving me some headaches.
I have some idea's for wrist blades, but still looking for other options as well.
If I come up with any new idea's, I'll put them up on here.

DIZZYARSEHere are my 1/6 scale biomasks... the top ones are from qqqqaaaa on e-Bay (exceptionally high quality and made to fit the first wave of AVP Predators... but not the Elder), the second row are Hot Toys, and the third row are from nosferatoys as mentioned above. His come in a lightweight white plastic resin and need a bit of sticky tape to stay on.

I intend to buld a small display unit for them... something like in the opening scene of AVPR when the Wolf Predator pics out his mask and goes off to cause mayhem!
