Custom Gun Displays?

I have done alot of searching on this topic, but I havent turned up anything that would suit my needs.

I am looking for something like this;

I would like to have something in a stained dark wood, maybe finished up a bit better. As in.... a little more 'elegant'. All I have been able to find are ones for Civil War era revolvers like the one in the picture, the rest all seem to be very specific. Like i'll find one that looks good but its paired with one specific type of handgun.

I currently do not have materials to do this myself, and I could use several of them so i'd rather just buy what I need if possible. Can anyone direct me to some websites that offer what im looking for, or perhaps a fellow RPF'er who provides this service?

Yea, unfortunatly I dont have the materials/time to make the several that i'd need :unsure I don't know why something like this is so hard to find. My search results always get clustered with wall mounted rifle racks and the like. Or the 1 piece clear acrylic stands.

You can try getting in touch with a local joiner to see if he can custom make them for you.

The shape is really basic, with the right tools it should be easy enough to make to keep the cost down.

If you need more than one it might also drop the overall price, especially if you have friends who need some of these stands too.

Cost is also based on wood quality/type/origin and what kind of finish you want.

But again, I think finding someone locally is the way to go :cool

What kind of gun is it? Most gun stands I've seen for semi-autos use the magwell to hold the gun. But I've seen nice ones all over eBay in Cherry, Rosewood, Maple, etc.

Well I have several.... at the moment its two Revolvers (both are unique) and one Jericho 941.
