Custom Diaclone Great Robot Base/ Dia Colossus from Titans Return Metroplex

Hi all. Got a question. Would it be possible to post photos here regarding a transformers toy I customized into a replica of the Great Robot Base from Diaclone? I know its not really a model, but I did use alot of modeling techniques to customize it. I thought about posting here, but was unsure since its not a model per se.

Ok, HERE WE GOOO!!!

So, I started with this, the Titans Return Metroplex...

And after about 4 months of work rebuilding the torso, reshaping alot of the arms and legs scratchbuilding alot of parts, and adding 3rd party parts, we have...

This ship mode is called Sky Dion, after the names of the 2 ships making up the Diaclone Reboot Great Robot Base.
And now...

this is Dia Colossus. I still have some more mods to make, including getting 3d printed knees that are stronger than the stock knees, and I got some turrets coming to replace some of the ones already on it.

Well, I know I sent some to friends there via DMs, so those can be dowloaded and reuploaded here. But I don't think its everything.

Possibly a server issue. Other stuff disappeared from the funny/cool pics thread and seemed to not be rule related. In tech language that means we rolled back the database to a previous healthy state but did not notify.

I FOUND THE PROGRESS PICS!

I couldn't find them in the thread, but remembered I still DM with a guy who dropped putta rhe main Diaclone thread due to the toxic people. I sent him most of the progress pics as I was posting them.

I won't comment on these, I think they clearly show the progress. Plus I honestly don't remember alot of what my thought process was now lol.

I will say I remember how nervous I was about scratchbuilding the command deck in the chest, as I had never attempted something like that before. But it turned out IMO as one of the best things on GRBPLEX.

Oh, and the backpack was made from some snapship toy kits, I bought four of them, and spent a week working out how to make the backpack. Originally I had to remover the side engines ad reattach them for each mode, but a couple months back I made an axle assembly from metal rod, drilled out threough thebcenter block and into each engine, and epoxied the axle to each engine sobthey smoothly(and tightly) pivot.

Quite welcome. Part of why it took so long to make it(4 or more months) is because I could only work on it on weekends, due to 10 hr shift at work destroying me during the week, and I also lost 2 weeks last September due to a very mild heart attack.

Got an upgrade kit for the legit Great Robot Base that easily was used with mine... love the turrets

The ball tirrets/minifighters are not gonna stay where I put them. I want better places than those.

That hints strongly to the beautiful streamer smoke from mecha godzilla during full launch assaults. Each turret unfolding, positioning and when all have found a single target all the blue white streamer smoke connects predator to prey. Love it.
