Crayola Model Magic- Anyone used it?

Gone but not forgotten.
I was wondering if it would be flexible enough for Predator dreads? Also, do they sell it in black in bulk quantities?

Thanks!

It drys pretty stiff but is still sorta flexible and rubbery for a short time but continues to get stiffer and starts to sorata dry rot as it gets older... I have some refrigerator magnets we made when it first came out, they are pretty hard now, I wouldn't dare flex the parts any longer as it appears like it will crack clean like stiff styrofoam...

Hey Sarge, I was just thinking of dreads. I am going to sculpt one approx. 24" and go with a plaster mold and latexw cold foam. I'll let u know how it turns out. Jason

Cool, I sort of got volunteered to make 2 Pred costumes for my son and a friend's daughter for Halloween over the weekend, and all I can think of is how to make like, 120 dreads without losing my mind! :lol

originally I used backer rod..which can be found at Lowes or home depot. It's a 1" thick foam that is used for filling cracks in walls...i.e. log cabins. I used a pair of scissors and cut a taper at one end and then used a heat gun to smooth out the cuts.
