I've been lurking this site for almost a year, envious of everyone's amazing work. I've even attempted my first pepakura of a Batman mask, but I still have a long way to go before I post anything presentable on here. Anyway, I'm a filmmaker living in LA and I'm putting together a short film. I'm looking for someone with amazing skills who can make some costumes, armor, and maybe even weapons. We have some private investors, but are currently putting together a Kickstarter pitch to make up the rest of our budget. If all goes according to plan then we will be making a really awesome film. Oh, I forgot to mention that this is a fan-film based off of a video and if you'd like more details about what it is then I would be happy to fill anyone in.
All the costs for making the costumes will be covered by the production and there is also a chance that you could be paid for your time as well (although I can't make promises because it is a fan film. I am really interested in working with someone who is talented and passionate about cosplay, gaming and may even be considering this as a career. I'm based in Los Angeles so I'm looking for someone who is the the southern California area for me to work with. If you're interested and would like more info then please send me a pm on here.
