Im using a hook at the back of my armor and 2 tubes holding it at each side...

have you considered spraying your armor with Homax knockdown spray?
it gives it a really pred look.

I haven't used it yet, I still need to experiment on my aging and weathering technique but will consider it in the future..tnx

I agree with what has been said about the armor looking a bit too clean. Other than that...rock on!
 
Just a quick update on my suit. My gaunlet needs an upgrade so I decided to build a new one from scratch with the same structure as my first ones..

Pringles can
pink construction foams
foamies
popcicle sticks
signaling led lights


Still a work in progress!!!! :D

man it looks so good, all of it...all around... beyond impressed but like i said i think the fact that you built it without hasving it handed to you on a platter, just your drive and using the materials around you to make a killer custom pred suit..

What can I say Mumbaki, that suit looks the part dude! Good on ya, congrats again. :cry: It's great to go back through the thread and seeing it all coming together bit by bit, absolutely fantastic work mate!
 
Mum.....you rule man. Thats one kick ass suit man. Great job. I was a pleasure to watch you do this suit. I watched this thread like a crack fiend to see it come together. I am honored to have you mention me and glad I could help. Newbies, this is the "how to" on a budget suit. Study it and follow it's lead.
