Frick dude! That thing is looking awesome! I was startin to worry about ya there for a bit as there were no further updates....I can see you have been busy! Looks like you'll have it ready for Halloween no problem!

Thanks keefer!!!!You bet yah im making it on halloween!!!!!so hows your costume coming along any new updates?

Bah, now that I have seen how yours is coming along......I want to completely redo mine! ACK! Actually, I think I have broken.....I am really starting to contemplate BUYING some armor. I am really having a hard time getting motivated to start and/or finish anything! I am still trying to finish the blades on my spear....and started on my plasma canon. After this week, I am off for 2 weeks....so hopefully I can get my ass in gear and get some stuff done! AGain..your suit is lookin awesome!

Your suit and armor is coming together in an awesome fashion!!! It is going to look fantastic!!!

When you do the additional armor aging, I like to suggest adding just a hint of aged bronze(gold paint with a bit of black to darken it) in places for a bit of variation and that "been hunting" look of the more experienced Preds. Don't be afraid to "dirty it up".

Watching this whole process unfold is awesome.

This thread should be archived and marked for all those newbie hunters who want to make inexpensive but awesome costumes worth wearing. This should serve as inspiration for alot of people to simply look around and find stuff that works for what you need to accomplish!

GREAT SUIT and GREAT WORK! You da man!

He mumbaki looking good!! looking good!!
Little question when you apply the liquid latex, is it smart to do several thin layers, or just 2 a bit thicker ones? (I got the latex in today)
Thanks
:)

I agree 100%. This is a "budjet suit how to build guide". Any publishers in the house.

Thank you everyone for the great comments and suggestions!!!!!!

HEY Ancientpred it is smarter to put several thin layers, coz you dont want your latex to buldge and drip.

Holy moley! That suit is one of the best costumes made from "found parts" that I have ever seen! Kudos to you for that creation!

Another update on my suit tried everything together skin suit, body netting(tnx to bovine13), body armor and bio helmet...project is 70% complete

and by the way project cost up to date is less than 400 dollars I will post all the spendings and donations at the end of my build.... :)

Looks nice! When you actually go out for events though, put some black makeup around your eyes to blend into the mask. Also, maybe some dots on the feet to match the rest of the body?

It's also cool seeing a left-handed Hunter. There's not a lot of them here with the blades on the left arm.

COOOL
Indeed some black makeup will make the mask even look better. I know it's a try-out.

Great!!! All the layers which you have made on the armor!!
Go on mumbaki...the time of the hunt is near! AAARRRRRRRRHHH!!! :)
