I messaged the Ausie geek a couple of months ago to see if he'd make a cape for my "big fig". We got to talking about his "Knightmare" Batman cosplay, and agreed on a deal that will be beneficial for everyone involved. He wanted a cowl that would fit his head, and I was already thinking about sculpting it (1 more time) for smaller heads. He sent me a life-cast, and I sculpted the cowl to fit his 22.5 inch head. The mold is done, in route to Iconic Collectibles, who will make urethane castings.
Chris has already owned some very well-done batfleck cowls, so this task was intimidating. The goal was to make it form-fitting, and still capture the shape of the screen-used cowl. I was kind of scratching my head at first, but I'm very pleased with the outcome. It will be in rubber form this weekend, and hopefully we'll get some costume shots around the beginning to middle of June.
