Correct ESB Vader grill???

Guys I have been scouring the web for good reference images of the ESB Vader grills. I don't have anything worth while. I want to knoe what color they were ( black, silver, gunmetal?) and weither or not they were layered. I have seen pics of the ESB fencing helmets with just the main grill, and no layering, but that stands to reason for visibilty issues. I know the ROTJ helmets are seen with the grill and some sort of mesh? behind them?
Anyways any help would be great.

Yea it looks to me, and I am no expert, that the lower chin vent grills are of a lighter color than the mouth ones, but I may be mistaken. It looks as though there is some sort of backing to them as well.

It also depends on the make/brand and lineage of the helmet you're using for ESB. The 20th Century and the Don Post platforms tend to have smaller chin triangles. If you've fully painted your masks, then getting "accurate" mesh will not display properly. Your best bet is to find mesh that will present the right number of diamonds in the available space. If you have questions as to what lineage your mask may be of, check NoHumorMan a.k.a. TooMuchGarlic's excellent lineage chart of known Vader masks.

yea I checked the chart, and my particular helmet is an ESB SPFX. I still have no idea on the color or anything. what is the "correct" number of diamonds for the chin triangle?
