*Contest* - Custom Sonic Screwdriver

I honestly cant wait to see everyone's sonic epecially considering there are pretty much no boundaries :D
 
Actually, reading the contest rules I'm a little crestfallen that we'll have to wait so long to see what each other is doing and all the marvelous things everyone is working on.

The suspense is terrible! I hope it lasts...
 
Normally, I wouldn't have a contest run as long as this one, but there were a few individuals influential in getting this started that wouldn't be able to participate if I didn't make the entry time longer than the usual.

Think of it this way, you have plenty of time to make an incredible Sonic.

For me, it's the chance to make any sonic. I really wanted to make it into the Dollar Store Saber comp' but at the end of the day a lack of local dollar (Pound) store inspiration left me unable to enter before having to fly stateside for Thanksgiving.

The extra long timeline on this one means that if for any reason I fail to get an entry in... well, I should probably hang my head in shame and not show it around here for a while... :rolleyes

Payday next Thursday. Can't wait for it to roll around.
 
i am really looking forward to seeing all the diffrent types of drivers.
its going to be great to see what peoples idea of a sonic sd is . :)
 
Hm, I'll have to see if I can enter something on this one as well. Time and school permitting. Sigh. I need a Tardis to get everything done that I need to..
 
So I am just wondering... If it can open a deadlock seal it is an insta-win right? :p

Man, peoples are moving quick. I'm still hoarding together bits and pieces and waiting for *secret found ingredient* to arrive off eBay.
 
So if absolutley everyone involved is 100% done with all their pics sent, will the deadline be sooner?

No, as the rules state you do not HAVE to state your intent to enter, so everyone has till the end date to submit. Like I said before, normally I wouldn't run a 2 month contest, but their were several people that were infuential in starting this idea, that would not have been able to participate if the date was sooner.

And hopefully we get some more prizes before then. I have a few others with the intent to donate, but I am waiting on their full commitment to post them.
