I think this is just a two part version that was designed for flight shots and shots when he was being repaired, so the legs were retracted.

I scaled it to about 3” across and gave it a go. Man this print came out super clean on my ElegooMars. Crazy that you even got the inside scanned with the fiberglass texture! Thank you again!

It's weird, this one seems a little more... spherical? Less of a flat curved shape... and the eyes seem slightly smaller than every other model ive seen, particularly noticable with the nose area gap. Wonder if this was a prototype sculpt or something.

That came out very nice.
All the kits I have seen through the years are all fan made kits. I have never seen a cast of of the org. smaller ver. of this. The Japanese kit that came out many years ago was a fan sculpt.

I'm tempted to do a run on 3D printed kits to help fund me buying the real one. I know there is an interest thread for this but I want to get a feel for it. What do people think of a raw 3D printed kit for $175-$200? If I can get enough people before the auction I'll do a run.
