You can read how I did it.... here:

Now to make the other one.... But I need a decent buckle first

DV - yea it's mine - let me know anytime if there is anything you think I should add - change - alter - clarify.... I'm open

So I have read through your tutorial and the wiki. Which the wiki is fantastic. My only thing is I want to get as close to the screen Anamaria belt and from what I can see in all of the pictures is that the belt is not actually made of the thick cow-hide belt blanks that people so commonly use. It looks closer to an upholstery leather.

Now my only snag is, from looking at the behind shots to show the "patch" the leather looks like it might be two layers stitched together. So i am wondering do I do one layer and fold over the edges? Do two layers where both layers have the edges folded over and stitched? Do two layers, one inside the other so that you only have the top layer with the folded over edge? Or do one wide piece folded in half, with the top edge of the belt containing the fold and the bottom having the two raw edges with both layers stitched together? (Option four I think might be the most accurate)
