Complete Han ANH Resin Kit for DL44?

Hi all. I just joined this great forum just the other day after missing the last open registration. The amount of knowledge and information her is fantastic. I look forward to talking to all of you in the future.

It has always been my dream to put together a screen accurate ANH costume. That said, I am looking fo a complete ANH resin kit for a Mauser mod. Correlian exports has bits and I can't justify paying $200 for the Blastech kit (not with a $350 holster rig on the way). Doopydoos doesn't seem to have one like they do for an E-11. It's either a full resin blaster or nothing. I've been scouring the forum for tha last couple days but all of the posts are from 3+ years ago. Does anyone know of a current set available? Thanks in advance for your help!

Sorry, can't really help you, but could you tell me about Doopydoos or where I can see their stuff?

And welcome to the forum! :cheers

There are several variants of my ANH/Hero kits floating around. If memory serves, they should be roughly like this (parts were upgraded as, for example, I found better versions of the scope):

1st: M1930 Mauser body, Bobadebt parts kit

2nd: 1896 Mauser body, machined scope mount, correct Hensolt scope, latest generation Bobadebt nozzle

3rd: Cleaned and corrected MGC body with heavily modified bull barrel, machined (dovetailed) scope mount, correct Hensoldt scope, and a slightly upgraded nozzle.

I'm not sure where the molds for the 3rd gen ended up, but I think my friend Bill (wilcomodels@hotmail.com) may have the 2nd gen molds. He sells on eBay more or less exclusively, but might be talked into throwing a set of parts :)

If anyone is looking for a high-end ANH, I have a complete Mauser conversion on hand (still in firing condition). I was going to upgrade all the old parts with MR bits, but with my upcoming summer camp won't have time before I have to hit the C17 ramp.

Thanks for all of the input. I got in contact with Bill (Wilco Models) and ordered a full resin replica. Can't go wrong with it for the price. He's going to paint it too. Thanks Alex!

I will shell out for a Blast-Tech in the future, but for right now, this is just what I need.

are the blastech scope mounts accurate? Ive been looking at the doopydoos kit, but wouldnt mind having a gun i could pull the trigger and possibly install a light into
