Cold Cast or Regular Resin which one should I go for????

Hello Folks

I have found a prop kit whose manufacturer has given buyers a choice of what kind of kit I want; either Cold-Cast Aluminum "or" Regular Resin. I'm REALLY leaning towards the Cold Cast given what I've read on this board but I was just wondering if the advantages of the "metallic" look and feel" are worth the "slightly" extra cost. Any help and/or opinions would be greatly appreciated.

It's really difficult to achieve a realistic metallic paint job, so cold cast is a great option.
