Cloud city comlink found greeblie!

I found the mesh used on the cloud city comlink Its from a Dansette Chorister transistor radio. This will help the run I'm planning on doing.

Thanks buddy, I did want to say it turns out lonepigeon originally discovered the push button greeblie. I just had no idea anyone knew about it.

There are other Dansette radios that have the same mesh on it. The chorister is just one of them

It happened again...within three days, most of the "decently" priced Dansette radios vanished from ebay.co.uk *LOL*

Let´s see if the prices go up now from 20-40GBP to 100GBP+ due to their new popularity amongst prop-builders/ collectors and how many pop up on prop-related forums in the near future

The only one I found yesterday afternoon after a quick search ... and yes it has sold already ... I did reach out to Bengrim09 but thusfar he has not read my message ... so I doubt he purchased it.

When I purchased a Dansette for Ryan, there were plenty of these on ebay.uk, ranging from 25-40GBP.
Now, after the reveal, there´s one left for close to 50GBP.

I am confident these will show up on a regular base, but am watching the price development with great interest (and a bit of respect)

The design of this radio looks so nice! I'm little sad to know that whoever got it probably will destroy it for the mesh...

I've wanted to make that Lando comlink for years. I don't know why I'm drawn to this one.

Yeah, I was watching those on eBay as well and decided to wait in hopes of finding one in better condition. A decision I will no doubt regret, lol.
