CLONE WARS weekly discussion thread

The response I got from the woman I am seeing now was "This is a cartoon? Holy hell!" This week's episode made up for the droid mess.

awsome! that's how I feel on some of the episodes... but its gotta be a tough balance for the production team/writers... you have to please and entertain the kids and the adults.

just watched it again! awesomeness! (sunday repeats it at 9:30am so if yo miss it saturday you can catch it again until its posted online at starwars.com) :thumbsup

Yeah, this is going to be a very strong arch. It was fun to read the novelization of these episodes last week, gave me something to look forward to.

Finally! This is the first episode I've really enjoyed all season. On another note, I really want Savage to die. He was a stand in for Maul, but now we've got the real deal. Having two more or less identical baddies just dilutes the cool. The sith should not be like Star Belly Sneetches.

I wouldn't really say that, they've changed Maul into more of a schemer and a mater-mind where as Savage is more the enforcer and muscle for Maul. It's a really interesting dynamic they've developed now and thinking of it now it does have a class Sith feel to it with Maul as the Master and Savage as the Apprentice although that's not the actual nature of their relationship. Should be interesting to see where this story arc goes.

Episode was AWWesome.
Btw, 2 years ago under impression of the Kom'Rk first appearance in series, I have made this 3d model:

If somebody need the model - just ask.

A good fight, but still tame after last week's.

And it wasn't much of a prison. One or two guards and no alarms.

well, for human/ mandolorian it may have been adequate but for Sith... ya, not so much. I liked that Maul held back a bit and fought Vizla physically moreso than just overpowering him immediately with a force choke or something... probably to seal the deal of the challenge to gain the respect of the other mandos to take the leadership role through their code of honor otherwise more if not all of the Mandos would have revolted and fled. Clearly Mandolorians don't know much about Sith but then they are a mystery to all including many Jedi anyway.

Vizla really threw everything he had at Maul and that was fun to watch! loved the throwing blades that grazed Maul's face!

Yes the last 2 episodes have, for me, been the only good ones so far this season, more like that would be great!
