Cleaning thin lines on a resin kit

Hey everyone, I just started working on a S2 New BSG pistol kit I received as a gift. I'm cleaning up the pour stubs but I noticed the grenade launcher doesn't fit to the pistol. Some resin seems to have gotten into the rail of the launcer (pic below).

I don't have much experience working with kits, is there any tool or dremel attachment that would easily clear the rail? I was thinking of clamping the piece down and using a thin drill bit, but I thought I'd grab some advice first.

a dremel is your friend, i'd use either a sanding disk or one of the small metal cutting tools.

Couldn't get the sanding disc in, not enough space. But I used whatever the 118 bit is in the image Tripper posted. Thanks guys.
