I recently did my first cast of a helmet and I had some problems. I had areas where the silicone stuck to the resin. The majority of the helmet popped out easily but there are some sections that have silicone stuck on the pretty good. I am using a razor blade on most of the helmet but there is a section that has a lot of detail I do not want to destroy.
So the question is what can I use to loosen the grip this stuff has. I have had some luck in the past with denatured alcohol but it did not seem to help this time. Any help would be appreciated.
