Re: SmookCMb's Hulkbuster Pep files! ALL FILES AVAILABLE!

Actually, I will be making this, scaled up a ton, so i can wear stilts.
cant wait! been doing research all day. now if only i can get a hang of this cutting and pasting. lol

Re: SmookCMb's Hulkbuster Pep files! ALL FILES AVAILABLE!

I'll start with this armor soon. I will reduce the scale.

I´ll work with cardboard, fiberglass and bondo.

One suit to rule them all. Thank you for the files! This thing is going to be freaking huge! I pushed everything off the workbench when I saw this post and popped the head together. Needs a lot of TLC and detailing, but the file is great.

I know. The wifey hasnt seen him yet. She is not going to be impressed...lol. The head took almost a whole roll of Harbor Freight foam. Visabilty is going to be a challenge. I have a few old cell phones around and I am thinking about using them for a kind of camera/monitor system. I am not really sure though.

Re: SmookCMb's Hulkbuster Pep files! ALL FILES AVAILABLE!

Hey is there any chance that these will be converted to pepakura? Just wandering, and yeah I'm new

Re: SmookCMb's Hulkbuster Pep files! ALL FILES AVAILABLE!

SmookCMb hehe mmm in pepakura the scale factor is 43 for 6' 8" height, it's 203 cm

Hey guys, quick scaling question.

I want this to be about 7ft so do I just increase each part up by 5% - for example the leg is 1282mm tall, so just change that to 1346mm?

Re: SmookCMb's Hulkbuster Pep files! ALL FILES AVAILABLE!

Hi I'm new to this site and have been looking for a pepakura version of the Hulkbuster suit and was wondering if anyone had them in a PDF format so that I could print it off and start on it asap, s I can have it done by the next con I plan on attending. Anyone please feel free to help me

Re: SmookCMb's Hulkbuster Pep files! ALL FILES AVAILABLE!

Just download pepakuru......it'll be the shortest part of doing this ;)

Re: SmookCMb's Hulkbuster Pep files! ALL FILES AVAILABLE!

Sorry for the necro, But I thought this would be better than starting a whole new thread just to ask a question about these files :)

First question, What is the final size this monster once fully assembled?
Second Question, I'm assuming with the files that they are only one side from looking at the .pdo? So am I just flipping the piece over to get the other side?
Third Question, Anyone got a right leg file :p

Re: SmookCMb's Hulkbuster Pep files! ALL FILES AVAILABLE!

I can start with your 3rd question, just use the back of all your left leg templates and you will have a right leg. They usually only show one leg/arm to save printing and cutting of a million pieces of paper. For your first question I can't get in pepakura right now, but if you, for example, open up the leg file and check out the scale factor it should show you the height/width/depth of the part. Just convert, if needed, mm to inches and you get an idea on how tall the leg is and from there you can get a good guess on the full size of this beast.

So basically just flip the parts over and bamn right side?
I opened the leg and its a massive 1282mm which is 50 inches. :D Its almost as tall as I am lol (Im 1.75cm)

I started the chest/cod last night and Im having a bit of trouble. Seems I need to angle the cuts so that I can join to bits together.

Also I maybe using too thick of a foam mat. Im using 10mm maybe I should use 6mm

To elaborate on Deimos' question: does one adapt the suit to one's own size,or the other way around (same question goes for Space Marine suit and others)?
How to approach these kind of projects?
