Clash of the Titans prop questions - what's been made?

I was watching this the other day, and realized that I can only remember Bubo the owl being made. No helmet, no sword, no shield, and only rileyreplicas did the medusa and medusa head :)

So... has anyone else seen anything from this film over the last 20-30 years? It was a pretty huge thing when I was a kid, and I can't really imagine there NOT being anything else out there.

Not a JY interest thread, more of an "eye candy" thread. I really want to know what is out there and what was made. I have seen some of the talent this board has to offer and God help me I can only imagine the 2 bobs working on the helmet or a Gorgon bust!

So... anyone know anything?

PS - Bubo kicks ass. Major amounts of it. I am still waiting for a gold plated japanese robo-bubo to come out.
 
Fun movie and I loved it as a kid, but I personally wouldn't care for anything from this movie.

I would love props from this film. I have always been on the lookout for a Bubo, but the sword, shield, & helmet would be cool as well. Heck a 1:1 bust of Medusa would be AWESOME!
There must be some props out there from folks that are interested in having them.
 
I would love a helmet, sword and shield too. Even the little statues that the gods used in the little pantheon would be pretty nifty.

The movie is a classic! I have seen more props from Flash Gordan than this movie and that is just kinda weird (although I would like a Klytus mask too heh)

I am hoping someone somewhere has something cool to share.

Ive always wanted to sculpt a legit size Bubo. Does anyone here have any scale info or measurements on him ??
 
I have a Bubo kit that I have been working on (and side-lined a LONG time ago). I started hand painting it and it looked crappy, so I set it aside. I hope to actually finish it someday. :)

I'd be in too. I would love to have the little statues that Zues toys with - especially Calibos. Also - what about the Ring - two moons and a crown - on the severed hand of Calibos himself!

It's really odd that nobody seems to be interested in the original Clash Of The Titans. When I was a kid this movie, amongst my friends, was as big as Star Wars. Being a fan since 1981, I find it insulting that props from the remake are all over the place, but nothing from the original was every produced (officially or unofficially) I have 3 of the Bubo kits that were around, but that is all I was ever able to find. The Sword, hemlet and shield were so great!

I still collect the toys and anything I can find. Recently got a Calibos Ben Cooper costume ( ben cooper ) still looking for others.

I still like the original and Ray H. work is the best. I copied images of the original shield the prophouse had and want to make one for myself.
 
I agree. Clash of the Titans was huge for us as kids but never got the attention of Star Wars of course. I remember my friends Dad building a huge playset for the Kraken scene. As far as props go, I would love to see Perseus' shield and sword.
 
Loved the original movie, and a bubo would be a great prop to have, one of these days i'll sculpt a kalibos bust, he creeped me out when i was a kid, the hands a good idea as well.
 
Wow-A ben Cooper Calibos costume? That must be bizarre looking. I've seen the Ben Cooper Kraken, though. I did see an old post that you made where you were getting ready to do the shield-but I didnt know if you ever did it....I was wondering.

Somebody mentioned wanting a severed Calibos hand With the ring...That would be great. I already have 3 Bubo's (10") that I am fairly pleased with, so unless somebody can do a full sized bubo which I believe was closer to 16", then I am looking for something other than a Bubo.

they also have a Kraken and Medusa ben cooper costume as well. sadly , I'm in an apartment , so I have planned and gotten ready about 20 projects so when i get my studio back I can pop them out.
the shield is pretty straight forward with the bird and and lots of weathering
 
I remember being kinda disappointed when I took the Kenner Kraken out of the box. The Commercial showed the Kraken amongst large rocks and stuff...I thought there should have been a Kraken Playset.

Monstersinmotion had a great, large Kraken diorama kit a few years ago (which I have) and its really terrific. Rocky cliffs, Perseus with Medusa head in hand and Andromeda tied to rock. Right now they have a decent Medusa head, but something about it doesn't seem right to me.
