Clark Kent (BvS) Plaid Shirts?

Just checking in to see if anyone knows if Clark's plaid shirts (in Batman v Superman) are off the rack or custom.

I noticed a 'thanks' to Men's Warehouse in the end credits, but a search of their website & eBay & Etsy yielded no matches. For all I know, they may have been used for Perry, or for extras only, or for suit jackets or dress pants, or who-knows-what.

I think I've identified one of the shirts: the red-blue-black plaid one.

This appears to be a Tasso Elba brand shirt, originally made for & sold by Macy's.

Style code 37107PORTC. Material 100% cotton. Color scheme "Port Combo."

Without going through the film with a fine-toothed comb, Clark's shirt appears to differ from the off-the-rack shirts by having a button-down collar and a matched chest pocket.

As far as I know, these are out of production and will have to be found on the secondary market. Approximate retail price on the secondary market is $25 US.

Good luck!

I've been looking for the 2nd shirts since before the film came out. Managed to find one that was about 90% similar in another color though I never saved the info sadly. Heck, I've thought about just tweeting Henry Cavill for an answer :lol

I'm sorry you weren't able to find the one you like.

All I did was fruitlessly search the internet for hours: Google image search, Amazon, Ebay, Etsy, Kohl's, Men's Warehouse, Steinmart, Walmart, Target, Bealls, etc.

And hit a few local second-hand / thrift stores.

I was even thinking about drawing the pattern myself, and having it printed on a custom shirt (which is very expensive, but is an option).

Or find a close shirt and try to dye it. I had a few 'close' plaids bookmarked for that purpose.

It's certainly worth a shot to email the costume designer, if you can find them.

Went thru BvS and grabbed some screencaps of more of Clark's wardrobe.

These have been lightened and color-balanced in an attempt to better show their true colors; but should not be used for exact color matching.
