Cheapest foam sealant?

Hey,
This is my first post (ever!) so apologies if I'm in the wrong section.
So recently, I got into pepakura as I wanted to make a stormtrooper costume out of EVA foam for a convention here in Egypt, which was my first ever creation. I could finish it on time (within 3 days) but underestimated the painting stage (spray right onto foam, no coating) so it turned out to look like cr@p but good enough to shine in the convention.

Now that I've got a good amount of time in my hands until the upcoming conventions, I'm really looking into improving the costume. Right now the most crucial problem I'm having is basically foam seams, it looks really bad despite being cut accurately, foam just pops out. After intense reading I found that stuff like Plasti-dip are the best for foam, but it's really expensive and unavailable locally here.

TL;DR: What's the cheapest generic method for coating + gap filling foam that's widely available? It's almost impossible to find specific brands in my country.

Thanks!

Wood glue. Water it down for large applications. Keep it thick to fill in gaps. Give it a few layers. Lightly sand the bubbles down. Then paint.
