Cheap Gold Leafing/Chrome Solution

Every year around Easter, you can find egg coloring kits. There is one to make foiling on egg shells... it's the same material they use for Gold Leafing and Chroming. Here's a video I made to explain it a bit more:

Thanks for the tip. This would probably work on a model of a Lunar Excursion Module.

I find it works great for a lot of thing... one thing I do is dilute the glue with water (since it's water based... like a clear Elmer's glue) and paint on fine details on consoles and the like, then rub the foil over it. Makes the little collets for buttons look 10x more realistic when you do this first before painting the button on.
