Cheap, acceptable TK under suit?

This web page was mentioned in the cat woman thread, but no one seemed to notice their black suit. I was wondering if this suit would be acceptable as a TK suit. I'm still newish here and have been debating TK armor for about a year now.

I don't know if anyone has experience with this site or knows whether or not this is a good choice for a suit and if it would be passable with the 501st or the MEPD...

Some one in the market may be interested to..

Let me know what you guys think!

Sure it would be acceptable. However, they aren't made of the greatest fabric and the undersuit takes quite a beating where the armor rubs on it. The fabric is more than fine if you're just using it as a bodysuit....but it won't stand up for long to the armor. I think you'll find that you have to replace it sooner than if you went with something a little better. Plus if you go with a wicking fabric it'll actually keep you cooler than this will. Wal-Mart sells cheap wicking shirts and pants. You just want to watch that it fits you without being baggy and that there are no visable logos or stitching in colours other than black etc. Long story short....you can do better locally and likely for the same cost or less.

I have one of these. I used this as my first undersuit for my Stormtrooper armor. The only drawback from using these is that its a one piece and the zipper is in the back. This makes it a challenge should the situation come up where you need to relieve yourself. That's why I have switched to a two piece "under armor" setup.

hmm..thank you guys for pointing me in a better direction!

cant be too careful when you're a noob like me...:lol

Nah, we're all looking for inexpensive options, if possible. Two things to always remember when costuming: ease of relieving one's self and comfortable shoes. Those two things will take define new levels of pain and suffering if ignored. Any other problems (ability to see, weight of costume, heat/breathability) are manageable.

I'm cheap. I cut corners whenever possible. I go with a snug black turtleneck. The pants I go with basic black women's workout pants. Together about $12.00 at Walmart.

Heres a better alternative. Lycra dive skins have a zip in the front and higher quality spandex.

I like the cheap option but a 2 piece under armor is the better for quality and for bathroom breaks!

I have a Drylete 2 part suit, 20 per piece and not a snag on it yet. Spend the extra $3(after shipping that one). Got it at Big 5, should be one nearby.

go to walmart. go to the underwear section.
buy compression fit pants and long sleeve shirt. basically a UA knockoff.
around $20.

got mine on EBAY, $15 shipped from a divers site. Make sure you get (1) size larger than you would normally.

I got a Zentai suit from fleabay years ago. I opted for the full suit (hands, feet, hood, rear zip and front crotch zipper.) I left the feet intact. The hands were cut off with thumb holes left in. Once I hot glued the neck seal in place, I trimmed off the hood. Now the whole thing zips up from the back in one piece and I can still take a leak. Nothing rides up or pokes out because it is ONE piece. $20 from China IIRC
