thank you
just finishe construction last night ill post video later tonight of whole suit in action , then of to paint.
yeah the muscle suit does have alot of potential. im doing venom next but he will be much larger than carnage not quite hulk size but definitley pumped up . ill start venom as soon as i finish carnage. doing the concept art now trying to figure what style of venom to go for.

thanks its been alot of fun and the lucky client who gets to keep this was very good about letting me do my thing. i learned alot from this one so im looking forward to doing venom next.
but first i gotta get this carnage colored

cheers

hey
i wasnt going to post until finished but ive been asked several times about the skin stage so heres a couple vids of the fabric stage , see notes at bottom of vids for info.
and the second vid of 1st latex session
still rough i have to go back in with my knife and do some surgury . some areas of fabric spray glued on let go and flattened some detail ...no problem just go back in slice those ares and reapply red coat. once im happy with the level of detail ill move forward with black latex coat
i pigment my layers so i can judge how thick its going on with opaciity and when i do my next layer i can tell where ive been and make full coverage much easier. the black layer will seal detail and acy as basecoat for final paint. should have some final paint to show tomorrow night.

practicality questions: What's the heat like in the suit? I've done zetai/lycra/spandex/whatever body suit covered in armor and it does get...toasty after a bit. I would imagine latex adds to that. Plus how's visibility? I don't really see any spots for eyes (though that's the idea and obviously well hidden). Finally are you going to have the mouth just open and then suggest painted mouth region black so the wearer can talk eat and drink with lower difficulty?

That all said I would gladly: roast, walk into walls, and be a starving deaf mute to wear the suit and look that awesome. Things continue to look more amazing with every step. That fabric by the way is just a elastic light material? Sort of reminds me of cheese cloth. I continue to watch this build and drool. Please know that your work is inspiring to me and all those who look at this thread

the suit isnt that warm . i havent worn it as its too small for me . my girlfriend is in it and said its very comfortable physically and temp wise. im sure if your in a hot room or sunlight it would get warmer. i built it with temp in mind and the black you see in vids is the morph/zentai suit so it breaths . ill add some vent hole later as well .
i havent made the eyes yet . vision will be similar to an ironman helmet better if i can do it , still workin on it.
the mouth will move with thye wearers jaw. the foam in head is very elastic and fits snug with out the jaw extension so when i add it it will move on face like latex mask would. drinking and eating will be possible.

i thank you for the kind words this site and its community is what inspired me to try costumes in the first place ive watched this community grow and the amazing work done here inspired me so if i can recipicate any of that then ..great that why we are here..
cheers the rpf
