Hey everyone
just a quick question
i have built a mk7 suit in cardboard and I have resined it inside and out and added 2/3 layers of fiberglass woven cloth on the inside.
Around the chest and abs, it still has abit of flex to it if I try and squash it. I fear if I add bondo to the outside of the suit now, it might crack easily in the future as it can still flex.
is there anything I should do to make it completely rigid?? Do I add more layers of cloth? Or shall I use fiberglass chop strand mats?
or should I buy some polyurethane resin and give the inside of the suit a couple of layers??
I just want to make sure its definitely strong enough and has a very small chance of cracking in the future before I go any further. Don't fancy doing this again
thanks
