Looks like there's more of a bulge evident around the nose area in this shot, so it might actually be a fully practical effect.

I was thinking, might this not be acheivable by pushing the nose up inside the mask instead of the more painful down position? The way the top lip is affected by the nose forced in an upward and back position would definitely suggest this as a method when compared to the mask sculpt.

Could either just cover the nose and deal with an slightly odd shaped muzzle area-

or just let it hang out-

i just wished we had more reference pics. kinda hard to sculpt a mask with 2 pictures that are not even from the same mask.
