Captain America!

If they had spent more time on story instead of just making everything 'big'. Not just a factory, a GIANT factory; not just a flying wing, a GIANT flying wing; GIANT tanks, GIANT car, GIANT Weapons.

WOW, everythings real big!

They spent a lot of time on 'setup', which can be tedious. A five minute setup for a joke has you praying for death.

^Freudian slip:lol
Hating Capt. America is like sayign you hate puppies. You don't really hate puppies, now do you?!

now peeps lets just admit it to all ourselves. It could have been alot better. To much set up, not enough howling commandos and not nearly enough red skull.

This film was not a good film, but we'll all sit through it anyway because were suckers for a marvel movie.

You can admit that to yourself as much as you want to. :) It will always still be true to you.

I'll agree it could have been a lot better - but even saying that, I still think it was a solid summer, popcorn flick.

I'll even agree that there wasn't enough of the Howling Commando's, but there was too much Red Skull. I think I would've liked it better to see more a plotting, scheming Skull getting more a more frustrated as each of his bases get destroyed by Cap and the Commando's building and building to a more powerful conclusion. But, movies have time constraints and we had to squeeze the origin and another storyline in there... and while it was far from perfect, it was still pretty darn good in my book.

Hands down the best Marvel Movie I've seen to this date. It had just the right amount of back story, just the right amount of action, I liked Evans as Cap (maybe a little short but whatever), liked how they did his costume. I was thoroughly entertained, don't get me wrong Iron Man 1 & 2 is a close 2nd but to much talkie talk and not enough smash and boom for a comic movie

I saw it to day in Original-D. It was pretty good, but not wow-fabulous. I'd have enjoyed it more if they were fighting actual Nazis and used more true-to-life weapons.

Weaving was good and Hayley Atwell was excellent. Tommy Lee Jones is just always exactly the same.

Chris Evans surprised me with how very good he was. I'm not sure how they did the whole 'skinny steve' thing, but that worked VERY well.

The Cosmic Cube was wasted. In the comics it grants near God-hood. Now it's a battery? Really?

I would have enjoyed it more, but there were a bunch of seriously disabled kids in the cinema who kept moaning and calling out and stuff. They can't help it, but it was really distracting.

I don't hate it. The ear covers and the very visible zipper bug me some, but not enough to matter or make me hate the costume. I'm looking forward to The Avengers.

From the neck down, it's a great costume. That helmet has some issues... in some angles, it looks huge. The ear covers make little sense, aesthetically or in actual use.

In typical fanboy nitpickery... shouldn't the 'feathers' on either side of the helmet be a little further back and higher up?
