Captain America!

You're going to love it when I tell you her role in CAP is to be the grandmother of his girlfriend in the present day, making for an awesome love triangle in AVENGERS or further CAP movies. :lol

Ah Sharon Carter :) She is rumored to be in the Avengers movie and I really hope that her character is.
Even if the love triangle is a little soap opera like it makes for an interesting read and I hope an interesting watch.

(These are the days of our lives)

Like your avatar by the way. :)

It's nothing personal. :lol

Didn't take it as such.

You mentioned that there was a nod to the Rocketeer which is very fitting and cool seeing as they were both made by the same guy. I have watched the movie several times and haven't caught that reference will you please share it.

Although it has been a long time since I have watched the Rocketeer maybe I should watch it again.

Wasn't Sharon Carter the SHIELD agent at the end when Cap woke up?

The kids playing with the star-spangled garbage can lid at the end in the streets of Brooklyn is a straight-up nod to the deleted scenes with the little girl that's only glimpsed at the end playing The Rocketeer.

It just says "SHIELD Agent" in the credits. Trust me; I looked. :)

Yea i was thinkin she looked like her too, Amanda Righetti (the actress) is barely 25 or so in real life, if its her supposed sister how old were their parents when they had her? "You were asleep Cap, for nearly ____ years" My first thought was that it was her daughter. We'll see how it plays out next summer

It's not her sister, it's her granddaughter

I don't care what any of you say, what common sense or canon dictate.
I say they froze her for him.

Like in that Twilight Zone episode "The Long Morrow."

I heard there was a scene after the credits and thought it would be the Old Peggy. 95 years old.

It was a good movie. Not great. Didn't suck, which is something lately.

In the movie, it's probably going to be her granddaughter. In the comics, we weren't talking 70 years of difference between Cap getting frozen and retrieved.

:lol I keep forgetting it's 70 years and going back to comic book Cap history not movie Cap history.
