The wings have a 3-step transition to them similar to the old style Air Force pins such as: http://i509.photobucket.com/albums/...ay auction and other sale photos/DSC09661.jpg Note the top "rib" of the aviator pin may not be quite the same as the movie pin. 2. Note that the circle of the ring is not flat - there is a slight roundedness to it based on the way the beveled corners are picking up light. Hope this helps.
