Captain America S.T.R.I.K.E suit on a B.U.D.G.E.T

Just a little update..I tried the plastidip but it didnt really do well on the test fabric. I went through 8 coats and it turned out a really rough texture. I think I'm going to try heat press vinyl strips and see how that works.

Just wanted to wish you good luck on your build,SD :thumbsup
Will you be using the classic cowl with wings or the movie cowl?

Thanks! I will going for the movie style helmet. I plan on picking up a cheap Captain America face mask and plastic helmet to frankenstein them together!

Working on the helmet. I took a kids Capt America mask and trimmed it. I then purchased an adult costume army helmet. I cut the helmet to fit the mask however it was a little too wide. Out comes the heat gun and metal bowl to shape. Right now I'm gluing the two pieces together and I will fill and sand the gaps.

Now on to the mysterious blue arrow. It's actually a sticker that looks brushed metal so I thought it would make great detail pieces.

The helmet is finished and now the only thing left is to figure out how I want to do the star and stripes. I'm leaning towards iron on transfer but I have to find it locally with Halloween this weekend

I cut the fingers off of the gloves but still had that bright blonde colored leather that just wouldn't do. So I dumped half a pot of coffee (drank the other half) in a bowl and let the soak. I'm pretty happy with the result

Finished the helmet and added a chin strap. My friend printed the star and stripes but couldn't go over the zipper so there is a pretty big gap down the middle but meh, whatever. I'll upgrade the star after Halloween or something. I'm calling this costume done.
