Hey gang,

I just acquired a collection of items that were part of a previous estate sale. I have not recieved the box yet, but do have some pics. I am going to start with what I do recognize: some of the pieces are clearly Star Trek props (hyposprays, p1 and p2 phasers(TOS, TNG, and TWOK), comms (two playmates and two convention specials? I think I may see a TOS Klingon comm wrapped in masking tape?), patches, potentially some PADD styluses and what looks like the shape a microresonator? At the bottom right of the pic, is seems like that similar tool in engineering in TNG. I also see a TOS control panel from one of the episodes but a forget, a TOS card reader and what looks like a TOS playmates protoplaser? Finally, I do recognize the piece from Space 1999, but there are a BUNCH of pieces I don't recongize. Please let me know! In the meantime, I am going to treat this as a pretty nifty puzzle. I can take more pics when they arrive, and probably should have done that, but I was excited to share my find. I was told that the person who was in original possession of this collection might have been a prop maker with one of the Star Trek shows and obtained some of the pieces that way. There was a claim (albeit with a caveat since no proof could back it up) that one, two, or maybe more of these pieces were screenused in various shows.

Thanks!

Re: Can you please help me ID some of these props?

Well, the white thing next to the pile of badges/patches(on the far right, about halfway down in the last photo) is the faceplate of a calculator.
The ziplock bag at the top left of the first and second photo looks like it might have some action figure parts - I'm pretty sure I can see a brown cowboy hat. Once you get the stuff and open that, could you take pics and let me know? I might be able to help you id it, and depending on what's in there, I might be interested in buying it, if you don't want it.
There's some neat stuff in there. Sorry I'm not much help identifying, but I hope that it's all orginal stuff.

Re: Can you please help me ID some of these props?

Holy crap, Tigg - it's a bonanza! Dibbs on the commlock, if you wanna sell it and it isn't kilt... lemme have a look at this and see if I kin figger any of it out..

- Bob

(I see one of those old, fat Nextel cell phones next to the TNG crickets, and a faceplate for a STTMP phaser above the hyposprays...)

Re: Can you please help me ID some of these props?

It's Star Trek stuff so I don't have a clue what they are specifically. Phasers, communicators, etc. The only thing I can identify is the yellow disks on the bottom right.

Those are those ammo disks from those little $5 guns you used to be able to get from grocery stores, pharmacies, etc. Just rarely at a toy store. I had probably 10 of those as a kid. The disks never flew straight so if you played outside, you'd lose most of them the first time you played with it. :lol

Re: Can you please help me ID some of these props?

Oh it's so hard in such a clustor... but a gold mine.

I'd just like to point out to everyone... this is what is going to happen to your collection when you die...

*Edit... are those isolinear optical rods next to those hyposprays?

Re: Can you please help me ID some of these props?

I cant believe you won it, I was bidding on the lot too, just got way to high, supposedly alot of it is screen used or made for production, if your looking to get rid of the small scanner looking silver thing on the right i'm all over it, i'll check out the picks and see if I can come up with a list

Re: Can you please help me ID some of these props?

Here is what I came up with at first glance:

2 hyposprays, voyager era
2 red thick iso rods? or data storage?
1 Commlock
various patches from TOS movies
Comm badges, looks like some playmates and some resin
2 TMP or TWOK graphic plates
Voyager era scalpel or eng. tool
Voyager scanner, eng I think, the square-ish looking thing on the left
4 TOS P1's
1 Galoob cricket phaser
1 TNG resin cricket phaser
Playmates TOS medical tool
2 playmates TOS Comm
1 TOS Calculator Comm
1 Spock Calculator
Piece that looks like it was made to make a TWOK Tricorder
1 TMP Phaser
3-4 TOS Phasers
1 Klingon Emblem

In the bags looks like some more graphics for TMP phaser and other various parts

Re: Can you please help me ID some of these props?

There's a TNG era Klingon communicator there either under that bag or in that bag in the top right... second bag from the right.

Re: Can you please help me ID some of these props?

Yow! It's a smorgasbord! :eek

Well the commlock is likely a Cy Productions (Clint Young)... I have one myself and it looks similar. Dark gray and all the buttons are stickers.

Re: Can you please help me ID some of these props?

I see no screen used items.....worked over playmates comms, 23rd century pistols and phaser ones from the same kits .....I hope you didn't pay too much? fun stuff but not more than $100.00 if that?

Re: Can you please help me ID some of these props?

Well it's intrinsically worth more than $100... even if every item were worth like $3 it would be more than $100. :lol

But yeah I'm thinking the TOS stuff, not so unusual. The TNG stuff you might see if any is Miarecki or name propmakers...

The things I don't recognize are as usual the most intriguing. :lol

Re: Can you please help me ID some of these props?

Thanks for everybody's comments, I really appreciate the help. I don't see any screenused stuff either, but would like to get a closer look at it. I am intrigued by those large data storage rods, but have no recollection of seeing something that big.

Re: Can you please help me ID some of these props?

Top picture bottom row second item in from the left appears to be a replica Space 1999 Com link.

Kind regards

Paul

Re: Can you please help me ID some of these props?

Thanks!!!

Anyone else? I hope to post more pics in a few days.

Re: Can you please help me ID some of these props?

Wow!

Looks like a few Miarecki Phasers in there.

Re: Can you please help me ID some of these props?

Looks like a pretty good haul, but nothing screen used that I see. The phaser II's may be a repainted EM , or recast there of, also a comm or two looks like the old StarLand ones, could be wrong.
Worth more then 100, more like 350 or so for all...Kev

Re: Can you please help me ID some of these props?

Also the hypos look to be NG painted as Voyager as well...Kev

Re: Can you please help me ID some of these props?

Cool! What a neat bunch of stuff. Mostly Trek in various forms. I wonder where the TOS tricorder/reader thing is from? I don;t recall seeing replicas of that before.

So much looks familiar, I can't wait to see pics of this stuff when you get it and can separate it out. Did you get a name of the supposed prop maker?
It's such an odd mix.

I haven't heard Clint Young's name in years! Is he still around? He was strictly doing OS Batman stuff last time I saw him (had to be 10-15 years ago!)

Re: Can you please help me ID some of these props?

Thanks again everyone. The person I bought it from did not give a name when I asked for more info. I will def. separate the stuff out and take better pics. I always liked rummaging through lots of goodies, so it should be fun to receive it.
