This looks to be way too small, but I used to have a saxaphone case that looked exactly like it. So maybe musical instrument case is a step in the right direction.

It could be a trumpet case. Hard to say without something to compare scale wise.

The latch on the case is similar to one I have here, and is 4" long, making the case approx. 12"-15". Just a guess of course.

Depending on scale, it looks like a microphone case. My band had a few of these back in the mid 90's.

It's a trek case. DS9 more specificly. Quark used one for latinum I think and though I don't remember seeing it used this way on screen, O'Brien and Bashir's darts were sold by itsawrap in one of these cases.

I have one of the cases in storage some were I used it to keep all of my radio controlled servos in it. They were cases that we got from a case company as factory seconds. As with a lot of cases.
They are about 12" long by about 4" wide and about 2 1/2" to 3" tall, The company sold them to many other companies for there products.
We all so used these cases for Space Rangers, Sea Quest, Space above and beyond, Earth 2, and so on.

When I have time :lol I will look for this case.
