I don't know the name of the font, but it looks like the font the title of "Frasier" uses.

also reminds me of the font they use on the magazine "new yorker", but its been years since ive seen a copy in person, so i have no clue as to how close it is

I don't know the name of it and it's most likely NOT a free font, but you might find something similar at one of these sites:

The font appears to be from the University family (or close to it).

I'm pretty sure there is a free font that is simlar around but it escapes me at the moment. Hopefully that will get you on your way though!
